ChillCast Privacy Policy

ChillCast does not require an account, display ads, track you across apps or websites, or sell personal information.

Location and weather requests

When you request chill data, ChillCast rounds the selected latitude and longitude to one decimal place (approximately 11 km) and sends that approximate location directly to NASA POWER to retrieve regional hourly temperature estimates. NASA processes the request under its own policies. ChillCast does not operate an intermediary server and does not receive your location outside the app.

Data stored on your device

Your selected location, saved orchards, chosen varieties, preferences, and purchase entitlement are stored on your device using Apple system storage. ChillCast does not upload these records to the developer. You can remove saved orchards in the app and remove all locally stored app data by deleting the app.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. ChillCast receives only the entitlement information needed to unlock Pro features.

Retention and sharing

The developer does not retain or share personal data from ChillCast. NASA POWER and Apple may process request or transaction data under their respective privacy policies.
