ATANI / Match Notebook

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Overview

Match Notebook is a racket-sports notebook that stores your data on your device. Opponents, matches, strategies, and related notes remain on the device you use.

Advertising

The free plan uses Google AdMob to show an interstitial after an eligible match save. AdMob is configured for child-directed treatment, general-audience ad content, and no publisher-enabled personalization. Match Notebook does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or access the IDFA.

The Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform SDKs may process or collect an approximate location derived from an IP address, device identifiers, ads viewed, ad and product interactions, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostics for ad delivery, frequency limits, measurement, analytics, consent, security, and SDK operation. Opponent names, scores, notebook locations, match records, notes, strategies, sports, notifications, free text, and exact match times are never supplied to the ad request.

Where required, Google's consent message appears before an ad request. Applicable privacy choices can be reopened from Settings > Privacy > Ad Privacy Choices. See Google's Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers and Lifetime purchasers do not receive ad requests after their App Store entitlement is confirmed.

Data Stored on Your Device

  • Opponent profiles, notes, and weaknesses
  • Match dates, locations, scores, and notes
  • Strategy cards
  • App preferences such as the default sport

This data is stored locally using iOS file protection.

App Store and Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases through the App Store. Match Notebook does not handle or store payment-card details. StoreKit communicates with Apple when loading product information or processing a purchase. Apple may provide the developer with aggregated App Store metrics such as downloads, purchases, and usage.

Purchase Processing with RevenueCat

Versions enabling RevenueCat use RevenueCat, Inc. for purchase validation, fraud prevention, purchase reliability and purchase analytics. Currently distributed versions keep this SDK disabled and do not send data to RevenueCat.

When enabled, the SDK automatically sends past and new Apple purchase records. These include product and transaction identifiers, dates and status, and applicable renewal, expiry, revocation and refund information. It uses a randomly generated anonymous app user ID. Request information includes app and OS versions, locale, currency and network IP address. Production and Sandbox purchase records may be included.

Notebook content, opponent names, scores, email addresses, advertising identifiers and a custom cross-app identity are not added to RevenueCat. Automatic device-identifier collection is disabled. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Apple StoreKit remains the source of ownership and eligible Family Sharing access. Existing purchases, prices and free features remain unchanged; repeat purchase is not required.

Developer Data Collection, Sharing, and Deletion

Match Notebook has no account system or developer-operated server. Purchase analytics use RevenueCat in versions that enable it, as described above. The developer does not receive notebook content or the advertising data listed above. Core notebook features work offline. You can delete stored app data by uninstalling the app from your device. Uninstalling does not delete Apple or RevenueCat purchase records. Manage subscriptions through Apple. Send privacy or deletion requests privately to the email below; do not post receipts or transaction identifiers in public issues.
